Brief introduction to the BACL

The Bulgarian Association for Computational Linguistics is scientific non-profit organization for people working on problems involving natural language, language technologies and computation. The Association is established on 27th of June 2002. The main aims of the Association are:

  • To promote research and education in the field of Natural Language processing
  • To promote sharing and transferring of data, software and specifications across researchers in different countries
  • To promote cooperation and information exchange among related professional and technical societies.
  • To establish distribution facilities for the dissemination of scientific results, publications and information materials.
